Students will research and create a version of a vegetable based dish from a culture outside the Southern United States. Students will compare and contrast various noodles and alternative noodles.

Students will begin inventory of the kitchen. They will also begin the process of opening up the kitchen for the year. Seniors will begin planning their capstone restaurant experience.

I’m so happy to have each of you back! I am looking forward to an exciting and challenging year. You will have many opportunities to advance your skills and expand your horizons. I hope you have had a great summer and are ready to get back to school. Remember that you will need your closed toe non-slip shoes and your hat! I will check out chef coats for you each to use this year. Each of you will be responsible for having your coat everyday. Alternately if you want to have a chef coat, you may purchase one from amazon.
